We had a busy week! Christmas Around the World was so much fun! It is always a privilege to see how other people celebrate this festive occasion with commonalities and differences. The concert was a roaring success. Learning celebration was well attended. I hope that you are impressed with your child’s math skills to solve addition and subtraction problems. And swim carnival ended the week on a high note! Thank you to all the parents who came to volunteer, support and cheer on your children during these special events!
Next week will be a short week with lots of engaging learning opportunities that the grade 2 team has planned for the students. Among them are STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) projects to save Christmas, baking, a Christmas movie and some winter cleaning! There will be lots of reading, writing, science and math weaved in during these times.
We also bid our farewell to two students who are leaving us this semester. We wish Ranbir and Vaishnavi all the best in their new country and new school.
