Language Arts
This week students completed their healthy choices book using all the crafts that have been taught.
They went through the checklist to ensure that they have all the elements needed in their non-fiction
writing. This was done independently as well as with the help of their writing partner. Students also
got another practice at retelling their non-fiction books. They recorded their retell in book creator using
the prompt that was provided for them.

for (to build muscles) and did some strength exercises such as push ups, bear crawl and crab walk.
Students also completed some games and poster on healthy choices. Ms. Suji will bring these and
share them with the teachers at the refugee center so the teachers can share them with the students.
